Metasequoia Inc is, in many ways, a phoenix rising gracefully from the ashes of my previous endeavour, Landsystems Landscapes. I founded Landsystems in the 1980s and nurtured it into one of the most distinguished landscape architecture firms on the Peninsula, serving a discerning clientele who valued both refinement and vision.

Over time, the company evolved with purpose — shifting from breadth to depth, from scale to sophistication. Our focus turned toward the pursuit of excellence in design rather than the chase for volume. When the pandemic arrived, and the world took to reshaping their gardens in a fit of do-it-yourself fervour, Landsystems continued to provide impeccable service to those who sought true craftsmanship.

Eventually, the time came to pass the torch. Yet, even after the sale of Landsystems, former clients continued to reach out — eager for the design sensibility and attention to detail they had come to trust. Their loyalty and encouragement inspired the creation of Metasequoia Inc — a continuation of a legacy rooted in artistry, integrity, and the timeless harmony between nature and design.
